Most relevant documentation has been received. Thirty four (34) sites
were delineated which meet all applicable Loudoun County and Virginia codes for possible
residential subdivision. These Drainfield sites may not equate to number of potential lots.
The hydrogeological study was approved on 16 January 2006. This property is approved
for the proposed subdivision of 28 lots. This letter serves as satisfactory completion of
requirements contained in FSM Chapter 6, section 6.620.
Please inform your surveyor/engineer that besides the drainfield sites shown on the plat,
below and aboveground storage tanks must be shown as well as any existing drainfields
and wells on or within 200' of the perimeter of the property. Please also note that at a
minimum the upper and lower left-side drainfield corners must be marked with 5-6' fence
posts. The application you filed will be current until February 1, 2009. After that time, if no
regulation changes have taken place, a new subdivision application can be filed with the
appropriate fees and the soils work would then be considered reactivated. Field stake-out
by a surveyor and subsequent field visit by a representative of this office maybe necessary
but without a backhoe. If any of your property is within the steep slopes/Mountainside
Overlay District, you must contact Building & Development to prior to submission of the
subdivision and to obtain a "Location Clearance". If you have any questions, call me at
(703) 737-8848.
ySt~lcerely,
John P Dayton
for Environmental Health Specialists
cc: Valley Soil Consultants
JP D/J /jpd
,~
~OF HEA THNT
Profedmg You and Yow fnvirorwrKnl
