2 INTRODUCTION
The proposed Alphin subdivision site is located on the east side of State Route 9 in the
Catoctin Magisterial District of Loudoun County as shown on Figures 1 and 2. The proposed
subdivision includes 31 home lots on 135 acres. The preliminary subdivision plan is shown
on Plate 1. The proposed subdivision will be served by individual wells and septic systems.
HSI GeoTrans was hired by Bo-Bud Construction Company to evaluate groundwater
resources at the site in compliance with Loudoun County's Hydrogeologic Report
Requirements. The requirements were stipulated to assure the adequacy of groundwater
quality and quantity prior to subdivision development. A Preliminary Hydrogeologic Report
prepared by HSI GeoTrans (1998) was approved by the Loudoun County Department of
Public Health on December 18, 1998. The purpose of this report is to present results of the
final hydrogeologic study of the Alphin subdivision site.

C
P: WLPfffNWLPFflN FQJAL REPORT.
