This review determines if the document has met all <br /> requirements as defined by chapter 6.240 of the Facilities Standards Manual (FSM). This review <br /> does not imply approval or disapproval of the report. <br /> Staff has the following requirements: <br /> 1) The Hydrogeologic Report does not firmly establish what the proposed groundwater <br /> usage rate will be. Please provide narrative describing the rate and duration of <br /> proposed withdrawals, including a proposed pumping plan for each production well. <br /> Staff cannot determine if groundwater resources are adequate without a clearly defined <br /> proposed usage. <br /> 2) Section 6.240.) requires an analysis and evaluation of the impact of groundwater <br /> withdrawals on the groundwater and surface water resources including the impact on <br /> surrounding water supply wells. Although staff realizes that there are no groundwater <br /> supply wells proximal to the study site, the report does not show this. Please add a <br /> section to the report that clearly shows locations of the nearest water supply wells and <br /> surface water bodies relative to the proposed productions wells, and provide discussion <br /> of possible impacts. <br /> Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding this review. <br /> <br /> Sin ly, <br /> <br /> Dennis H.
